Default mouth call for the fiance?

Well she picked up a primos sonic dome tonite only to find out she has a narrow palate and it was way too big. Looking for some ideas on what yall think....point me in a direction! Was looking at a flextone babyface or quakerboy....

I believe a mouth call can be trimmed with scissors to fit better.

Not sure if this applies to all calls, but when I trimmed down my HS Strut Raspy Ol' Hen, the material was not sealed as far as I trimmed it, so it started peeling apart. I had to hit it with a little super glue to get it to stay put.

So, word of warning there.

You need to try an Ozark Ridge Pro II Sweet or Pro II raspy which have a small frame and can be trimmed. Careful on the trimming because she still needs to be able to seal off air flow. If your an experienced caller you need to try the Pro V; it is an incredibly easy call to cut and cackle on. ozarkridgecalls.com Good Luck!

Also, you can bend them a little to make them form to the roof of your mouth a bit. That is what I do. Can't bend them too much, though. They have broken on me, or been bent so much that they wouldn't make good sounds anymore. Bend it just a little, check it out, and then bend a little more if needed.
