Strikers
 

Should the end of a striker be flat or round? I bought the Ol Glory by Primos and both strikers were round on the end, but I saw one at the store that had a flat end? Which is better?

Some strikers are more rounded than others. The more rounded the end is, the less critical the angle of the striker against
the call.

my flat ones are now round ! they wear down in just a little while. Sometimes I reshape them. I know ppl that burn them (it makes them round). I know my strikers by feel. A edge sounds different than a flat ( two hens, one striker) I replace the fiber glass and plastic ones cause the length is important in the sound to me.
