New Turkey shotgun under $500?
I am looking at getting a shotgun for turkey season. I want to spend under $500. Right now I am considering a Benelli Nova, Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870. Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

$500 is plenty. I shoot a Nova 12 ga. Use 3" Rem., copper plated lead #5's and with Pure Gold choke tube. Works great. Have friends that use the Rem 870. In fact my daughter uses a 20 ga. The 870 is a long proven design.

You can't go wrong with any of the choices previously mentioned; the nova or the 870 will treat you well! Best advice I can give you is go shoulder and fondle the ones in your price range and pick what feels or suites you the best. Good luck in your search.

I would highly suggest the Stoeger 3000 or the 3500 model. I bought my son Tony a Stoeger and he NEVER has had a problem. Check it out for yourself.
