More added equipment for me
I just got off the phone and am the proud owner of a Automatic Turkey Plucker. You dip the birds in warm/hot water for a few seconds and toss them in this spin drum with rubber fingers and in a minute of tumbling , they come out like a Butter ball right out of the store. Purfect for the deep frier...BT [:-]

RE: More added equipment for me
Adrian,we use one of those same turbins for our quail, ducks ,and turkeys out at our club.I know exactly how well it works and is to us an invaluable piece of equipment in processing our meat for our hunters in a short amount of time. The key is your water temp in soaking your bird in preperation for the tumbler. To hot and the skin tears easily,to cold and the feathers hold on longer. We have a huge pot that is heat controlled by a valve using gas fuel.I belive around a 160 to 180 degrees works best for us and we check it by a using a thermometer. If the feathers rub right off out of the hot water the birds ready for the tumbler. You got yourself a great piece of equipment there buddy!!![8D]
