Default good scope for turkey hunting?

Im looking to put a scope on my shotgun. I was wondering what would be a good scope for around 100$ for it.

Simmons Pro Diamond is what I usually use. And for less than $100.

Mueller MX-1 is what I use on my 835. One of the few red dots that can withstand the recoil and still stay zeroed. Around $100 i believe.

My advice would be to get something that gathers a lot of light.Legal time here is 1/2 hour before sunrise.

Bushnell Red dot works great except when you forget to turn it off after each use and don't realize its dead till you have a thunder chicken 35 yards out!

Default scopes

I and JW! use the Nikon Turkey pro scope. JW! got me to try it, my depth perception is the problem, and this scope has made a difference for me.

I got a cousin started turkey hunting this year, he was short on income and couldn't buy a turkey gun, so I gave him one of mine and he harvested his first bird ever yesterday, 21lb bird. He wants a scope and I was telling him about the following. May be next year before he can buy one and sorry to here that but the following is/was a heck of a deal.

I was checking the Cabelas' web site and they have the scope mentioned on sale from $249.00 to $149.00, or they did the other day. I think I paid about $220.00 2 or 3 years ago. From what I read about it, they have changed a few things, but sounds like a heck of a deal.

+1 TO what Dog1 says.

I have flat beat up my Nikon Monarch Turkey Pro - it has been dropped, banged, grabbed as a handle to life the gun, handled by hundreds of kids ag my huntger ed classes and has shot well over 30 birds so far with it.
I have yet to re-set or re-adjust this scope as each yr it has been spot on with my test shot. AND to date shot 2 more nice Toms with it.
