Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Federal Magshok Hi-Velocity Flightcontrol 3" #4

Just bought some of these rounds. Wondering what experiences any of you may have with these rounds. I tried the Remington Nitros and got crappy results. I'm shooting an H&R 20 gauge.

Thanks

I've heard over on Greybeard's that there seeing alot of single 20's throw Federal flight control turkey shot, I think they were suggesting 6's with the fixed full choke and 4's doing better in the modified. They are definately throwing dense patterns I've heard with mainly being flightcontrol.

The flite-controls work great out of a gun without a real tight choke. The tighter the choke the worse they seem to perform.

Default Wow....ok

Like I said, I have the H.S. Undertaker, but according to what you guys have said, I would be better off using my modified screw in choke that came with my gun when I bought it.

These shoot better with a more open choke. Tried patterning them with a jelly head. Didn't do well with that choke. Same results using the buckshot. It shot the best using an open choke
