Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Any Burris Speed Bead users out there?

Just wondering if any you folks have a Speed Bead on your gun and what you think about it. I'm really interested in getting one to put on my SBEII since I use it for duck and turkey.

Anyone?

I have been using one for the last couple of years and have been very pleased with mine (fastfire 2 not speedbead but basically the same unit just mounted differently).

The unit seems to work really well but the on off switch is waaay to small and cant be turned on or off with gloves on. I put fresh batteries in quite often and just turn the thing on and leave it on while hunting.

Cant see why it wouldn't work well for waterfowl as my buddy used his on a goose hunt a couple of weeks ago. He shot his share.

Would recommend one for sure

I like the way the speed bead is mounted. I've seen several reviews from waterfowl hunters that it helps them keep their head down on the stock. I just wondered if it was worth having for turkey.

I have a Mossberg 535 with rail. I put the Burris Fastfire II on there and love it. They are a bit pricey but since I was able to get my 535 relatively cheap then I didn't mind spending the cash on the optic. It helps me acquire the target faster.
