All of the above a great tips and yes, if you have a big enough property you will be doing some walking. Scouting is not easy but, you can make it fun too. It is like hunting except, you are hunting for sign. Try not to employ tactics, especially calling with turkey calls, that you plan to use during the hunt. Have fun with it. After you find suspect locations set up a trail cam. Checking pictures and seeing what's in the area is a blast.
