Do you have a standard full choke tube? Might be worth a shell or two to see how it does compared to the Jellyhead.

with the Super pheasant there's not much difference with target loads there's not much difference. i haven't tried ,my Federal turkey loads yet with my standard full choke yet, just with the jellyhead.

The Federal's frequently will not pattern well with a vented choke such as the jellyhead. The flight-control wad is interfered with. Have you tried any other designated turkey loads out of it? I have seen nothing but good results our of the jellyhead.

and with the super pheasant it was about 40 somthing total hits at 40 yards

with the Super Pheasant there was a HUGE dropoff from 30 Yards to 40 yards. so if i keep my shots within 30yards i'll be good.

But as of right now I'm looking for reloading recipes and Turkey loads.
I would get a bigger target to make sure you're counting the densest part of your pattern. It may not be on the 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of paper if the POA and POI are not the same. Normally, a 10" circle is drawn after the shot around the densest part of the pattern to determine the hit count. Then, if needed, adjust the sights to get the gun hitting where you want it to.
