Just curious what time of day do you usually pack up and head to the house after get done turkey hunting?
For me it's around 9am and this year I hope to stretch it out farther to me more like 11-noon, here in Missouri shooting hours end at 1PM.

I will generally hunt until noon to see if a gobbler who was with hens at daylight gets lonely about 10 or 11. I have hunted in the afternoon, and have called a couple in at 3-4 o'clock, but not enough to give me the confidence to stay all day all the time.

That's a easy one....when I get em, or it gets dark!! Haha!
Seriously though, I'll hunt till 2 or 3 no problem. If I've been on birds though, I hang in there with them, but usually I'm done by then unless for some reason I got in the woods and started my hunt about lunch time.

Dave is correct. Hunt as long as your state says you can. Most of my birds go down 10-12 am, but in Iowa we can hunt all day and I do. Once they are done with the available Hens breeding off roost, the Toms start wandering around, and are accessible to calling. My first kill years ago was one of 5 Jakes heading to roost past 4 pm. I try to set up that late inbetween where I think they are and where roost is when it gets later in the day.
