What time of day do you usually pack up and head home during spring turkey season

My gun is loaded till 1pm on public land. If I am having an incredibly crappy day I may take it in early. I hate hunting on extremely windy days so I may pack it in early on those days. Otherwise, I hunt as long as legally possible.
I have even left work after working a 12 night shift and hunted till 1pm. Having a WMA just a few miles away helps. I just need to make sure they never do a parking lot check for guns at work!

As long at it's legal. If you don't take a longbeard off the roost and he gets henned up, the longer you stay out the better chance the hens will break free and he will start roaming looking for another hen to breed. I've killed birds right up until legal quitting time, which is well past 7PM up here in MI in May.

Same here. If i cant get them to come in right away in the morning, I usually wait til 9 am, which i call the magic hour. I cant count the number of times after 9 am the toms get lonely and start looking for another girlfriend, which can be a very easy time to call them in. Seems like they get real vocal again too.
