You might want to post this question in the western regional forum too. It might generate a few more hits.

I've never been to Utah, but check with the state Div. of Wildlife Resources: Utah Division of Wildlife Resources

Ask if they have a biologist who does turkey work. They're usually good sources of information. Your taxes and hunting licenses pay their salary, so you'd might as well ask them.

Good luck this spring. I hope you bust a BIG ONE!

MRI ( most recent information), talk to locals and like joeA said talk to the biologist. If your there before season scout your area. But your locals could help you out the most. Good Luck

Also scout on line I.E. wild turkeys in Utah, ______ county Utah etc.

I found 2 places here that hold turkeys to scout this year just buy doing that.
Utube is good for that LOL.

A quick search for turkeys in Utah came up with turkeys in Smithfield and around salt lake city then I would just do more research on those, but this took less than 3 min and is only a starting place.

scout scout and scout some more. but don't call unless you're going to shoot em. don't want to pressure them too much. also, do your research on this site and all over the internet. get to know how turkeys move, what they eat, what calls to use etc. GOOD LUCK!
