RE: Weight-loss challenge! Come on guys lets lose it!

Me and my wife have been on a weight watchers diet about three month I' ve lost about 26 pounds. Still have 16 to go till I' m at goal of 200 lbs. It was pretty easy really you can anything you want but you have control how much of it you eat after a while you don' t even notice your eating less and feeling better with more energy If you can get hold of some weight watcher points books and stick to it you' ll be suprised. Now I can hunt all day and not have any aches or pains.

hey kitsapcaller great Idea hope to see you on this site. I' ll keep an eye out for you see how your doing.

How are most you guys who are seeing results losing the weight?
For me, the first thing I do is keep all the junk food out of the house. ITs not easy with 3 boys at home but it doesnt hurt for them to eat more healthy too.
No soda. I havent had a soda in probally a year. Once you start drinking water and juice such as orange juice the soda doesnt even taste good anymore.
Basically less fat and carbs. I also pick one cheater food that i indulge in once a week such as fried chicken. This keeps my cravings down and as long as the rest of my diet is consistant the weight will continue to fall.
Here is an example of my daily diet.
Breakfast: 1 glass of carnation instant breakfast and a banana.
Lunch: I can of Chunky soup (steak and potatoe usually)
Snack: more fruit
Supper:boneless/skinless chicken breast baked or cooked in an electric skillet with Fat Free Italian dressing, salad, greenbeans, rice, etc.
AND GET OFF THE COUCH. No diet in the world will work very well if dont get moderate excercise. I just work in the yard and walk in the woods alot.
The key is to develop this into a habit. Works for me.
