decoy motion
 

I have never used motion on any of my decoys, I am sure that it helps with some birds. What is some of the ways you guys add motion to your decoys, and is it worth it? Any help and feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Well it is one of the best things that I have done to help the success of the decoy working better. The Bobbling head decoy is by far one of the best I have used and it was designed to move, other then I did modify it a little and got rid of the stake and used a plain pole stake and just set the decoy on the stake. Never have had it blow off and it turns and rocks like a real bird.

Motion works a lot better in my opinion...

I was never one to use decoys much but in the dozen or so years Adrian and I have hunted together I've seen that Bobble Head work many times.

My bobblehead is my buddy.i love her, even on those slow days, she keeps it interesting.....someone needs to come up with a remote control truck or platform, something.....

For the past two years I have taken fishing line and tied it to my B-mobile decoy. Last year I tied the line to its head and wrapped it loose around the decoy. When birds see it I would put the sting once and the decoy would turn. I have also just tied it to the decoy head and pulled on it making it appear it is walking or such. Hope this helps you out.

I have a bmobile with a remote control that i can turn him 360 degrees, so when birds gobble and are coming in, i turn him toward them, fun to see them pick up the pace for the fight, mostly use this early in the season when they are still establishing dominance
