Remington 11-87 Supermag

I use my waterfowl gun, Beretta Extrema (fully camoed of course).


Works great on turkeys with 3.5" #4's and extra full turkey choke.

Right now I'm using a Browning 3 1/2 inch Gold, with a 26 in barrel. But I sold it today and will be buying a Browning Maxus with a 26 in barrel.

Just customized my Mossberg 500. Switched deer barrel with my XXXX choked, 18 1/2" turkey barrel, added a 2x30 red dot scope and switched to my special ops pistol grip and retractable stock. 6 shot capacity, shooting Federal 3" #5's. Its camo'ed in Realtree APG. What a fun gun to shoot! sorry for the blurry pic, but I just took it with my Blackberry and it takes horrible pictures. I have pictures that show what it will do at 18 steps (see post titled "2 down, 1 to go")

Been using my Benelli SBE since 1996. Don't plan on using anything else any time soon.

Changed early on this season from an 870 Super Mag (which I loved, just had a longer barrel causing me to catch just about every limb in the woods) to a Mossberg 835 thumbhole stock, 20" barrel with a jellyhead choke.

Shootin a Mossberg ulti-mag with #6 3 1/2 winchester loads. Deadly combo.

I also use the Winchester super x2, great gun!, with a 28" barrel,yea it's long but it was a gift and who complains. I have an undertaker choke and use the Winchester supreme high velocity 3-1/2 #5's. Taken two birds over 50 yards with it this one last week actually.

Benelli SBE with a HS Strut (?) turkey choke. Have not shot it other than to pattern it.

Mossburg 835 with ProDiamond scope and 3 1/2" #5s

My grandpas old Marlin Model 55 Goosegun with a 36 inch barrel and 3" #5s

Both get the job done.
The Mossburg got a 17# last week.
The old Goosegun got a 23# six spur bird last weekend.

20" Mossberg 835 with Tru-Glo Pro Series Magnum Gobble Dot sights, Sims recoil pad, .690 Jelly Head or a .670 Pure Gold choke shooting 3.5" 2.5 oz #6 Hevi-13s. Great turkey gun.

Either my Ithica 37 or my Marlin XL7, depending on whether or not I'm sniping hogs at the same time.

Just did my first turkey hunt and bagged a nice 20 pounder (link to pics below) with my old Mossberg 500, 28' ventilated rib, full choke. She's not real pretty but has put lots of meat in the freezer in the past 20 + years.

My favorite is my 982vs or 882 ssv Heavy barreled Marlin in .22Mag with either 34gr. Winchester Supreme Hp's or Federal 50gr. Hp's

This years bird had a 9 1/4 beard.

Mossberg 535 ATS with 30mm TruGlo. Various 3".

Mossburg 500, Mossburg xx Full Choke simple and cheap but got it done every year so far.

I use a 12 gauge mag Browning B-80 with a Hastings .640 choke and Remington Nitro 3 inch mag number 5s...

I am leaving my Remington 1100 home and currently using an Ithica M66 Super Single. It is a lever action single shot 12 guage with a 36 inch full choke barrel..
