Good post. Great answers. I am suspicious about the post that says "it works every time".

I've used the end around and the back off while calling aggressively strategies with success. But, backing off works better with a second hunter. Send him off calling aggressively while the hunter stays put.

I've also had the so called hung up tom arrive in my initial setup once I made it around to where he was "hung up". We essentially swapped places. If you're in a good place, patience is the key.

I just may have to try that one day. :hail:

Not sure if you're laughing at this or not. But I ask you, even if you're not hunting, to try it. You may be very suprised. I'll try to find videos of others doing this. At our turkey banquet, they had a video up on the screen of a guy walking down the fenceline right behind a group of birds with a fan. I'll do some searching.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the advice. If (when) i run into this problem again, I'll have to try and execute some of these tactics.
