I love turkey hunting but when it comes to 57 turkeys in my yard I start to lose some respect for the birds. I live on the edge of town with a woods and field behind me so they like to spend most of the day in those areas, however the do spend about an hour or so in my yard, leaving it a mess!! I would like to know if there are possible tactics to keep um out, the fecis from 57 turkeys is too much for me to bare!

Haha, yea if it werent in city limits i would. One has at least A 3 inch beard.

Haha! Man, I don't know. That goes against everything I've been taught coming up turkeyhunting. I didn't know it could be hard to run them off unless I was deer hunting! LOL!

A dog will surely help.......or I bet farm geese would not let them stay there.

Question is why are they loading there? Do they roost on your property or roost elsewhere?

make it so it don't feel safe there and they will move on.

good point JW, they do roost right on the tree line, there isnt much to eat though.

get one of those invisible fences and get a dog that you let roam freely about the yard. Will have to deal with dog feces, but will be a lot less than that of 57 turkeys

Get a frickin gun and start blazing mow about half of them down!!!!!!!!!
