Ghostmaker ceramic call

I received my ceramic call in curly maple from Ed Jenkins and boy do I like the ceramic surface. It is so easy to play and needs hardly no conditioning. I am no expert but if a new turkey hunting is looking for a surface that can do it all with little conditioning. I feel this is the surface. Scoot

Ceramic calls are one of my favorites!

Great surface. Very hard to beat. What type of wood are you using for the striker?

Ed made me a persimmon striker which is really good but he is also making me a rosewood striker which is suppose to be heavier so we will see how it sounds. Scoot

I just got one of those from Ed about 2 weeks ago. Mine came with a Cannery striker. Mine was not in Maple it was a composit.

I have one of Ed's Copper calls. Let me tell you this- I make calls and sell them. If I am buying calls I buy Ed's. He is not only a very talented call maker, but he is one of best guys around. He and I have never met, but talked on the phone and chatted on boards and such and he has gone out of his way to help me get started. You will never go wrong with Ed.

Thanks bud...got-it! Made contact with ED today, he's 1-1/2 months behind with his calls so it'll be a long wait, but I'm happy to bear the time. Saw his craft on photobucket and his 'pot' calls are indeed 'pot' shaped, looks like it'll fit great in the fingers.
Thanks again!
