These are 5 of my 7 calls going to Nashville Thursday to the NWTF call contest.

The other 2 are the 1270 y/o oak and punky oak I have posted before.

Thanks guys. Not expecting too much since I am new at this and there are some GREAT call makers.

I have talked to a few about the 'politics' of the call show.

I was asked some time ago to enter a few of my wingbone calls and I delcined.

Was honored others thought that much about my calls.

Anyhow good luck....

Good Luck Eric!!! :) I'll be there - hopefully I'll see them! Regardless of where you place... you should be proud of those calls!!!

Personally I don't agree with how they judge them and I let them know it last year after the convention (not that they care! LOL), but I speak up when I think something is wrong! The calls should be annonymous and judged solely on quality of craftmanship & performance... Not taking anything away from Woodhaven, but they clean house every year... That's just my opinion!!!

The Politics being that if your not from a main comp. or have a background with the NWTF.. You aint poo...

But, If a state board member and Regional Director sponsor your call... You have a chance of making a name.. which is better than nothing...

So Fire N Iced calls have some backing...
