DSD or Floozie decoy?
What would be your choice?:s1:
|
I have a DSD jakeand hen.... they are awesome decoy's imo.
|
How long have you had them?I like the paint on the DSD,but worried they will scratch or chip off, fade. The floozies being imprinted in the cloth seems they would be more ap to last longer and more durable.I'm a taxidermist and been using mounted birds, they are a real pain to carry and not destroy. Two years is about all you get out of them. When it rains it about destroys them.Any reports in using eather would be helpful.

three seasons still like new

Sportsman's Guide has some decoys real cheap on clearance that would work just fine if your interested.

No thanks,I have watched the effects of cheep decoys to the effect of mounted decoys. We all know turkey have keen eye sight.Just my thinking, but I want the most realistic decoy without the hassle of a mounted decoy. Thanks anyway, and good hunting to you.

I have a DSD hen on my wish list. Think I may pull the trigger on it this year. For the guys that own one, are they worth the money?
Thanks, Ray |
Save $$ or Not
I have used the very inexpensive and the moderately priced decoys and have had very good luck with both.
Good luck to all! Four months here in Colorado, too long !! |
Would like to hear from a floozie owner. Not certain about the body, with printed cloth.

I love my Floozie decoys. If you look on page 4 at 2010 Spring Turkey Hunt, Take 2, you will see the Floozie decoys in action.
