Well, all signs point to the end of another spring. Most spring turkey seasons have closed, the weather has been downright hot, the spring turkey contest officially closes in a week, and the action on the turkey forum has slowed to almost a crawl. It happens every year about this time. The once very busy turkey page gets abandoned for the deer or bowhunting forum. I do the same. Its just a little hard to let go of spring sometimes, you know what I mean. Anyways, I hope everybody had a fun and safe spring season. I did. I guess its time to let go, start camping and fishing, and preparing to climb into a tree come october.

Sad but true. Our season has been over for more than a month. Cant wait until next spring.

Today was officially the end here in PA, I'm still trying to come to terms with it. On the bright side, I'll be able to get some sleep, possibly be worth something at work, and start paying more attention to my better half.

Saturday is the end up here and for me tomorrow will be the end of it until next year or perhaps a shot at the fall season. I was out for a while this morning and saw 5 different hens and all with small chicks/poults with them.. So I know why they will not respond to my calling attemps now.. I still might get lucky with them tomorrow though who knows..
