Uh, I don't know about that... You don't have a wife, do you? haha

That theory looks good on paper, but I'd hate to have to convince my dog to sleep outside so I could use his doghouse because I told my wife how things were going to be!

Looks like it was a great turk!!! What were the stats? (weight, beard & spur length)???

Good looking mount - congrats to your dad!!! Hopefully you get the next one!!!

I tried hard this year but didn't get one close enough for my bow.

Umm im not sure about the weight or spurs but the beard for 9" and the spurs weren't long at all. half inch if that.

It sure has more sentimental value.Because u made it especially for ur father.Considering ur age and being the 1st one u ever made im sure he is proud of you.Your a good son.

Here's an idea since your mom doesnt like the feet. I cut the legs off about 1 1/2 inches above and below each spur, then spray them with laquer to give them a nice sheen, I then finish off the cut ends by trimming hobby felt to fit the ends and glue them on for a finished look. good thing about the felt is that the color choices are endless.
