Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Daughters First Turkey

Thats My Girl!

I took my 14yo daughter Turkey hunting, (this is her first bow kill ever) we had alot of action throughout the weekend and we were successful this morning.
He has a 9 1/2" beard and 1" spurs
We arrived to our blind about 6:20am, gobbling Tom's were north , east, and south of us. we could see many silhouettes sky lined in the pre-dawn as many birds were roosting about 250 yards to the northeast, As they left the trees, they flew down and about 30 of them headed our way. We counted 6 nice Tom's, the balance being Jakes and Hens. Carrigan shot him from 10 yards. He made about a 30 yard death run and fell over.

I think she's addicted to Turkey's now. She will be hunting Whitetails this fall.

Carrigan is shooting a Browning Micro Adrenaline @ 35 lbs., Magnus Stinger broadheads, Carbon Force Radial X weave 200's.

you shouldn't have a shortage of turkey meat around your house this spring! Congratulations to you and your daughter.
