Patience: How do you combat tired butt?
In past turkey hunts I've noticed that while my mind is telling me to be patient, sit tight, wait it out, my butt is telling me it's sore and tired and wants to get up.
That's with my strut seat and pad. How do you combat sore/tired butt? |
Gobbler Lounger--It Helped me

I had, as probably everyone else, the very same problem that comes with just sitting on the seat cushion that comes with your turkey vest. You might want to check out some kind of actual turky seat!! There are several out on the market, and I have been using the one by H.S. Strut for the last few years now. I also include one of those thermal seat cushions on top of that seat as well. Nothing like being comfortable for a long wait. My tailbone use to get so dang sore with the seat that comes with your vest, that after only two days, I couldn't sit anymore!!! Here's a link to the seat I use.

Hey maytom I used one of those and it helped alot, But I got a bad back and have to have something to lean back on--sometimes even a oak tree makes my back sore--when I pulled your link up it also showed what I use-now I can set up behind/in front of or in a brush pile.Just my .02$

Try one of those low boy beach chairs you can buy at Wal mart. I have been using one for about eight years now. Put a coat of green paint on it and it will be ready to go. Good luck with your season. Ray

Cabelas Gobbler Lounger works for me too.

I hunt out of a blind on private property so I use a computer chair. It swivels, reclines, even has arm rests.
