Woods ---------------------------------- corn ----------------------------------- tall grass grass So thats what im looking at. Is corn good for turkey. Is there something they like better. Im in wisconsin. Will they eat it before it grows. Any suggestions appreciated!!!!!! :D |
Turkeys love corn, but so do deer, squirrels, raccoons and a host of other critters. They have a lot of competition for the corn. So the patch should be large enough to feed everybody. Turkeys are also fond of clover and alfalfa and the bugs that live in those fields. You might think about that as an alternative. For one thing, you won't have to plant it every year.
