hmmmm.. you do realise that it only take 1 pellet, right?

sorry I couldnt resist... but I needed to try a few different chokes and shell combo's before I found what worked best for my M500.

my mossberg has a choke tube on it and i get 260 BBs at 30yards with 7½ low brass, its a damn good gun, before the choke tube i got 197 with same shot so my addvise is what alot of people has said before me, get a choke tube

Let me guess... That is your 40 yard pattern...

An Indian Creek or Pure Gold shooting Hevi-13 3" 2oz #6's will get you where you want to be. Also polishing that barrel will more than likely give you quite a pellet increase as well.

Thanks for the help. I cleaned, slightly polished the barrel, I did not do it right.I shot some new shells. Winchester 3", 2 oz, 5 shot and a borowed choke. 118 pellets at 40 yards. That doubled the other shells. I wish I would have waited on the suggestions, I could have saved $15.00, on the remington 3 1/2" shells. No one has every recomended remington shells.
Thanks again, Florida season starts one week from today.
