Gander Mountain...coming back
 

Gander Mountain is bring back their mail order catalog. It was to my understanding they sold that to Cabela' s. But I was told that was only for a time frame. Gander is opening a huge store here in WNY shortly and they also plan on opening a store up in Watertown, NY.

Congrats to Gander Mountain and welcome back.

Wish the heck they would open one in Canada , Toronto would be nice ,, just stay away from Sarsbrough , or I mean Scarbrough :D ...BT

I see no reason to shop there. Cabela' s has every thing I need.

I was always wondering what happened to that store chuck. Glad to hear that they are getting back into the bussiness once again, that will keep the competition on there toes and the prices down as well.;)

We don' t have a Cabela' s here in our back yard. I order many things from Cabela' s and I will continue to do so. But you have to understand that Gander coming here means JOBS for people. People here in WNY need jobs as almost every area in the Country does. Bass Pro is coming to the Finger Lakes this fall and that good too!

I have a Gander Mountain and a Bass Pro both within an hour of my home:D
We will also be having a Cabelas opening in Sept. within 2 hours of my home so I will be visiting all 3 ;)
I think that it keeps it interesting but I still buy most of my stuff from the small guys because they are the ones that have always been there for us and its nice to get that personal touch:D

Bob I think they scout the areas before deciding on location for demand , here in Ontario we spend more time drinking beer then sports [&:]

Now the west coast , you fellas have to remember that Surfing [8D] is the main sport , and they don' t sell Surf Boards in that chain :D...BT
