Turkey Archery

I love to hunt turkeys with my bow.
I have not killed a turkey with my gun in years
I am just curious as to what type of broadhead works
best. I have used many many kinds. I have to say the gullatine deffinently drops em but i am ready for something else

i hear you want to use expandables. because they lack penetration compared to a fixed head and they will stick into the bird and not pass through which means more knock down power and more damage......

Any big expandable will do as long as they fly good.If you are shooting a fast bow at 70 lbs it is not going to matter what expandable you hit him with it is just going to blast right threw him.

If the gullatine works good, why change?

If it isn't broke, dont fix it.

JMHO

Its pretty neat but my shots are very limited with the large blades. I was wanting somthing that could be shot through perhaps tall grass or maybe if i only have a small gap to shoot. Or if i can only get a body shot. I dont like to shoot the turkey any where but the head with the gullatine. I used judo tips and SGH(small game head) before. But i did not like the penetration.
So if any body has a tip that works well for them i would like to hear from you.

I also a turkey bowhuntin' junkie and have tried all kinds of b-heads with good results.

This season I'm most excited to try these two.

The new G5 T3 appears to be a awesome choice and with their intechangable "spider clips" that allow you to actually set the sensitivity of blade deployment (for instance a stiffer clip allows you to shoot though blind window mesh), these are going to be a great choice!

Another B-head that looks like it's going to be an awesome choice is the new NAP BloodRunner 2 ! With a monster 2 3/16" slash wound.... this baby is gonna slice a Tom down!!!

2 or 3 blade rage works very nice.
