Gobbler Lounger, how good is it?

Thought about getting one but how good are they? Will they hold up and are they comfortable?

I've owned one for three seasons now................................... best i've found - the screw holding the shoulder strap comes loose after a period of time. I bought another one on sale, I'm keeping for the day the first one can no longer travel.

These things are great. I have a couple of them. Very comfortable and easy to carry.

The Gobbler Lounger is very comfortable, but I quit using mine for one reason. Because it has four individual pads that sit on the ground, it has a tendency to sink into soft ground. I went to this chair and have eliminated that problem. The legs go allthe way acoss the width, giving it extra support in soft ground.

This is their large chair, for those with a bigger frame. They also make a smaller one for smaller framed individuals.

Has these chairs got a cross bar across the top of the back rest ?

I've been looking for this sort of thing without a top cross bar...

I've been using the gobbler lounger for the last 2 or 3 seasons. I love it. The strap that comes with it isn't all that hot though, so I added my own out of a longer piece of rubber and wear the thing bandolero style when I move so I don't have to worry about it slipping off my shoulder.

I must have got a bad one. Mine broke the 3rd day out with it. I do weigh 210 lb. I thought it would hold up better that that. I did set real nice and I liked it.

I have one and I absolutely love it!! I've had it for 3 seasons now and I wouldn't leave for the woods without it. I consider it a must have!
