Best Broadhead for Turkey

Im looking to get some new broadheads for turkey hunting this spring. What do you feel is a good broadhead for turkey? Thanks for the help! SDG

A sharp one lol. No seriously any broadhead you use on deer will work just as well on turks. And since the vitals on turks are much smaller than a deer's you might want a large cutting expandable like a rage, tekan, ect.

I use Grim Reaper 100gr Razortips, and 100gr Atom's. Haven't shot one with the Atom's yet (1st year using them), but they have worked extremely well on everything else so I don't foresee any problems.
If you want to head shoot them the Gobbler Guillotine works very well.

Just use a broadhead that you can pratice with, the kill area of a turkey is very small and you only get one shot with a bow, on a bird. Remember ususally there is no blood to follow, so after the hit watch were the bird goes.

The G5 T3 is going to be an awesome b-head for Gobblers this Spring!

i would assume a rage would work just fine from seeing what it does to a deer... im looking forward to using my new magnus bull head's (similar to the gobbler guillotine) but with out the need for straws and they have stronger blades

im no expert on turkey broadheads but i know that it takes a fair sized broadhead to do the job. i tried using abc sonics last year with very poor results. the first bird got arrow through the wings pining them to its sides and it ran over 700 yards before i lost sight. the other got arrowed the same but this time there was a good blood spatter, it was very dark so that means i hit a artery or heart. it im not sure exactly how far it ran but it ran a good 300 yars before it hit the bushline

I use the Turkey Terrors and they have performed perfectly! Arrow stays in the bird and they do not go far.

I am shooting at 300 fps 400 grains.
