Input fast please :)... Red dot scopes

I am new to turkey hunting, but I love it. I have a shotgun and I would like to get a red dot scope for it. I am leaning towards TruGlo, because me and my dad both use it for our bows and have great success. What kind do you all use?

Christmas is almost here!

I would prob say that the tru glo is fine... I have a millett on my hand gun and it works great... It did cost around 150.00 thoe...

For me......................No scopes on shotguns (period).

Just make sure you buy a quality one. TruGlo would be a good one among others.

Keep it simple. Put a fiber optic bead on the front, and go with that. Less to get hung up on and no batteries to run down.

IMHO At the distances most turkeys are shot, scopes of any sort are not really necessary.

i was guna buy one also and was overwhlmed by all ppl saying just stick w/ fiber optic sites

Im not a big fan of red dots myself. My dad had one on his slug gun for a while and he seemed to like it ok. Took it off though in favor of a regular scope.

I have shot many a Tom without a scope and then I got old and could not see the back ramp and if I did, I lost the front bead.

So scope for me!

I went with a Nikon Monarch some 6 yrs ago.
