The best time of year to buy turkey hunting equipment is right now, at the close of the spring turkey hunting season, before the sporting goods stores pack their inventory away, if you know what you want and don' t want to wait until next spring to see what the new products are or might be. So, olgreenhead, I wouldn' t wait until next year if you are convinced that any of the recommended vests, or others, are the best/for you, I' d go shopping right now.:) (And I' d look for the Super Elite II.)

I don' t know the name off hand but I used the 20 pocket vest that has the NWTF logo on it? Works good and has a bandelero fot the strikers in the inside pocket plus a pocket that will hold a couple right up around your heart for those runnin/gunnin hunts we all partake in every once in a while;)
