super aluminator & super aluminator II
 

I am looking to get another slate call.
I am thinking of trying one of the Mad Calls.

Does anyone know the difference between these 2?
Does anyone have any experience with them?

I HAVE USED THE SUPER ALUM. FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND I AM VERY PLEASED WITH IT. IT' S AN EXCELLENT LONG RANGE CALL AND IT' S QUIET FOR CLOSE RANGE. WITH THE CARBON STRIKER IT WORKS WELL IN THE RAIN. I HAVE CALLED IN MANY BIRDS FOR MYSELF AND FREINDS WITH JUST THAT CALL.

Bass Pro no longer sells the original. They are selling the Super Aluminator II.
I know in some cases the new is not as good as the original.

Does anyone have any experience with the model II?

I have a Super Aluminator, and like it. From the pix I' ve seen of the II model, it looks like the alum plate has a coating on it or something.
