YOU DECIDE
Where I'm going hunting for my last day of season. Everything I have done aint worked. So i'm leaving uo to you guys.
Option 1 23 acres of hardwood bordering a hundred acre cattle pasture. pasture not mine. only hunt 3 times during the first week Option 2 70 acres of open pasture and CRP. hunted about 7 time through the last week and half. Both areas hold birds. Gobblin has began to slow down. Both areas have bordering property with average hunting pressure. Im leaning toward the 23 i own myself simply because i'm thinking since gobbling has slowed down they will move back to the regular feeding patterns which will bring them through my land. BUT its up to you guys. |
RE: YOU DECIDE
How far apart are these farms. Because you could hit up the 23 acres in the morning, and then scout the 70 acres in the afternoon.

RE: YOU DECIDE
Go with your gut and hunt the 23 acre patch, especially since they've seen less hunting pressure. Good luck.
