do you call different when you have decoys out?
i know about people always saying when you dont have a decoy out and the tukrey gets close to shut up because he will know your a fake because he doesnt see any turkeys. what is i have a decoy or two and he sees turkeys? do i call differently? please give me any advice about hunting with decoys. thank you

when he see the dekes and starts coming in there is usuaslly very little calling needed. If he trys to hang up then do a very light amount of soft clucks and purrs.

Not really, same for any bird really.. If it seems like they are coming in make very little calling at that point. Might take a while but if hes on the way only real hens or being spooked will turn him around. Call very little, especially once you get his attn. Can try raking the leaves as well, might get them that last few yards for your shot.

Once they see the deke's I think the attraction switches from an audible one to a visual one. I still call to add realism to the set but do get softer and tend to switch to clucks, purr's, etc. Like demoIl said the calling doesn't really change. I also tone it down when I'm hunting without decoys once the I get a visual on a bird.
