There's so much tree trimming in PA...roost shooting that you'd be crazy to even think about attempting such a feat... I'd bet you find many hunters sneeking in on you, gobble once from a treestand, put on a bullet proof vest and helmet and eye shield and watch what happens.... take out a life insurance policy also before heading out...

turkey is a different bird in the fall to the spring. What you see from your tree stand deer hunting is not at all applicable.

Not sure why you would want to hunt them from a stand but it's been well laid out why it won't work.

That is just another crazy reason to not hunt public land. There are too many idiots that do not think safety. I have seen turkeys during bow season under my stand but their eyesight is amazing, I'm thankful that deer can't see the same or I would be in trouble.
