sad, sad, sad

good to see so many people getting birds.... my season closes in a few days, but this weekend was the last time i will get to hunt. opening morning was the most promising, but weekend after weekend of bad weather prevented me from seeing any birds.... so now, i wait again till next season and try again.

*end of self pity*

Reading all the turkeys harvests I was jealous some of you guys get to hunt so early. But maybe its a disadvantage in cases like yours. My season opens this Thursday, May 1st. Seen numerous Toms out scouting.

i know the feeling......4 years i was the same way....hunted like crazy...just never took a shot because i didnt feel confortable with any presented...this year on thew second day of the season i tagged my first....now the funs over until fall......kinda sad for me....but i got a bird......good luck if you get back out.....if not your time will come....the bad weather is a killer on spring gobbler hunting.....last year we only hunted 4 days i think......we usually hunt atleast 10....usually more..we seen a few hens...and i hada shot at a gobbler presented but i didnt like it and wanted to wait....but he didnt want to wait so he got away.....stick with it..your love sick tom will come running to you
