I really owe my success to this website and watching hunting shows all winter!
I AM hooked! Now I just need some of those cool turkey footprint stickers for my truck tailgate.

Looks like a nice two year old. I'm not going to call it beginners luck, because you have been preparing yourself for a while, but do understand, it will not always be that easy. I'm sure you know that though. Congrats on your two birds. There will be no slowing you down now. You are definately hooked for life. This is one great addiction. How much did your 2nd bird weigh?

Yea... I'll call it "prepared" beginners luck.
I am blessed to live on a lot of land with zero hunting pressure, so I don't have to be as sharp as a lot of you.
I knew the general area they were in, and heard them gobble in the trees the night before I set up. I am not sure I would've gotten a bird the first morning had I not been between 2 toms, and the rest of the flock.
so, yea... I just did what I'd seen, heard, and practiced and the birds behaved the way they were "supposed" to.

Maybe I should just quit now that I have a perfect record ;)

Oh, I don't think so. You are way to deepinto it nowto quit. You could gozippo for the next 10 hunts and you will not quit. I will not let you;).Like I said, you are now officially addicted.

Donnie you seem like a nice guy. I am glad you got your birds. But, that Pic. of that cute little girl is not
what we need to see everytime you post. It's just not right. I hope you understand.

That was actually a picture of my 3 year old daughter showing me a hurt finger. Hell we don't even swear in our house.
