holy crap do these mothers kick. they kick almost 2 times as much as the hevishot i was shooting..
my budget pretty low so i switchd from hevi shot to these things...downgrade, but..it gets the job done.

i got 22 pellets in the head and neck at 40 yards..goooood enough.

why do the kick so much more? i can deal with it..but im just wondering why my cheek bones throbbing after 3 shots

I dont know why they do, but they kick REALLY hard!

Try the limbsaver recoil pad, it did wonders for my 870s kick. The cheek soreness does suck, with my gun if I were to put a cheek pad I wouldn't be able to get low enough for a good sight picture and my shot would go high. I'm seriously thinking about getting some sort of raised sight or maybe a scope just to get my face off of the stock.

i just actually got back from patterning it again. i shot the supremes at 40 yards, and had only 5 pellets in the kill zone. it will kill a turkey..but im looking for better.
i shot my last hevishot 3.5 number 5s at 40 yds and had 64 pellets in the kill zone.

i think im just gunna save up and get another box of hevishot

They kick more because they are being pushed so much faster. 1300fps vs. 1090fps.
