First Turkey Ever (BowKill)
 

Hey guys this is my turkey i got this afternoon, it is my very first turkey ever taken. was in the woods for 40 minutes, and this big mature tom came in. It has a 9 inch beard!! I started calling 5 minutes after i was settled in. Soon i heard a hen enter in the field about 5 yards away from me. I kept hitting the slate and about 10 mintues i heard a gobble, finally i saw the bird! Massive!!! It worked its way in, was nice to have a live hen in with my decoys! The gobbler came straight to the jake decoy and was looking for a fight. I nailed him at 10 yards. Thanks Double Bull Blinds!! it was a long tracking job though! IM not sure how to measure the spurs but i think they are about an inch.
