In Illinos the northern zone is 4/13-5/14 and is split up into 5 seasons. You can hunt 1/2 before sunrise to 1:00 pm...

In Minnesota we can hunt one 5 day season if drawn. Our shooting hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise to sunset. When I strarted hunting turkeys about 10 years ago the season closed at noon. I don't remember exactly but think it went to 2:00 for a few seasons. Now for at least the past 4 or 5 seasons it's been sunset. I've never shot a bird past noon, but I know guys that have and it is nice to have the option to hunt until sunset. I don't really know how much the later shooting hours increased the total harvest. We also have a limited number of permits around 42,000 this season.

I live in Arkansas and would be all for a 1300 closing time if it meant we had half as many birds as Missouri does. Don't knock it, you all kill three times as many as we do.

I live and hunt in Wisconsin. The season is split up into six periods. Each one runs from Wednesday to Sunday. I've got the fifth one from May 13-May 17th.

I live in Florida and on public land it ends at 1 and I THINK on private all day (But dont quote me on that you may have to end at 1 on private land too)
