I've got a few options..... I'm going to 20 gauge one first.... Beretta 391 20 gauge.... I went and patterned it today.... and I'm thinking I'm probably going to order a Pure Gold .555 and some Nitro #7 Hevi-shot for it. She didn't do too bad with a Tight Wad .570 and Hevi-13 #6 (93 in a 10" at 40 yards), that came out to 41.2%,but I think we can do better.
After that, (assuming I get that far) I'm going to bow one (another one). I'm going to shoot 125 gr Rage 2-blades (no that isn't a typo.... there is such a thing ;)) Pardon the clutter.... its that time of year.  Another picture of my baby with her new Hokie Pride strings.... pictures never do justice.... Winners Choice does good work.  And if all else fails.... there is 'the turkey rifle'. Which is now sans scope.  |

gonna be using my 870. She's got a 1.5-4x bushnell scope but other then that she's a plain jane, but I ordered a new Boyd's thumbhole stock that will be going on soon and she has an appointment to get a trigger job. Can't wait to see how it comes out

To each his own, that's what I say. What's right for you might not be right for me. My Dad uses a Rem 700 in .222 and frowns on using calls or decoys, like I said to each his own. Personally I don't like to eat a bird after it's had a handful of shot slung through it.

No pics but I'm using a winchester sx3 NWTF extreme turkey gun with the X-tended range 3.5 # 6's with a comp-n-choke .660 to control it .

I'm sorry i replied here, I didn't know it was a 'shotgun' only thread. I did nothing wrong, rifle is legal in my state including rimfire and most people I know use a rifle. Yet people have an issue with it.:eek:
