Remmington 870 Shurshot Synthetic Turkey
 

I plan to buy a new turkey gun and am looking at the model 870 SPS Shurshot Synthetic Turkey by Remmington, can anyone give me advice on this gun. Good, Bad, Ugly, what loads and choke it might like.

It is a Good value for a good turkey gun that is good and comfortable that typically shoots very good patterns.

That is very Bad if you are a turkey, a member of PETA or an executive or stock holder for Butterball or Purdue Farms.

Personally, some folks do think it is ugly, but the recessed forend is awfully nice when that gun is rest on your knee for upwards of an hour or more at a time.
