RE: Calling help please....
I drop my jaw a little and trill my tounge as I blow out lightly. I can' t get the gargle thing to sound right, and my throat kills when I am done. Don' t know how the tounge thing will sound to the birds as I just got that down this spring.

Man why did you wait till the last minute to try and learn a mouth call... You might want to stick with some kind of friction call and just keep practicing with the mouth call until you start to get the hange of it....

I use the trill tongue method. I guess it works for me. The tom that strutted for me at 20 yards last spring thought it was ok. I have also used my lips to do it, but I can vary the pitch by dropping my bottom jaw and using my tongue better. I also find it easier for me to throw clucks at the end of it if I use my tongue instead of my lips. Practice it at home until you get good enough to use it. Don' t experiment on the birds with it unless you want to be mad at yourself for being foolish.
