Whats in your arsenal?
 

Wondering what everyone else uses to get the birds in. To see if I'm missing anything or over-doing it. I've got:

1- jake and 2 hen decoys
2- Pretty Boy
3- Box call
4- numerous mouth calls
5- slate call

I seem to add every year but what's your best weapon in getting them to come in?

Lets see I have 3 hen decoys. I have 2 box calls, 6 slates, push button call, many mouh calls, 1 gobbler tube, 1 owl hooter and 2 crow calls. Also is my first aid kit, 2 face maskes, repel, gloves 3in Federals, and a camera...

I stopped with the dekes a few years ago, don't seem to need em around here.

my best weapon to getting them in is an HS Strut raspy old hen mouth call....by far the best call i have found for our CA birds.

I carry way too much stuff. On any given hunt, I'll use some or all of the following:
1- two different crow calls
2- an owl hooter
3- 3 slate type calls
4- 3 or 4 different strikers
5- one box call (mostly for a locater)
6- one hen and one jake decoy
7- one mouth call

Well I am trying to cut down what I bring because I don't actually use much.
I almost always bring 2 hen decoys and 1 Jake, but I only use em half the time.
I bring a raspy hen or 2 mouth calls a cutter, and DD youth mouth call.
1 glass call and 1 high frequency call both with there own strikers.
I always use the mouth call to bring em in and most of the time in general.
Owl calland that it for calls.

I def carry more stuff then i should. I got a new primos turkey vest before last season and it has so many pockets, i just had to fill them all haha. But I usually have:

1. Primos jack pot slate
2. custom glass slate
3. Primos frictionite (or whatever they call it) AND crystal "Freak" slates
4. about five different strikers
5. box call
6. three or four mouth calls
7. crow call
8. mask and gloves
9. bug spray
10. flashlight
11. two hen decoys (rarely used but carried just in case)
12. 12 gauge 870 and shells

I guess that is about it but I'm sure I'm probably forgetting something.
