Home from Texas
Texas as your hearing was pretty special this year. The six of us killed 12 birds in 2 days. The truth is that we probably could have killed 100. The birds came to us in big groups of 3 to 6 and we were only allowed 2 birds a piece. They were everywhere!

RE: Home from Texas
Wow, that' s one heck of a hunt. Do you mind divulging who you hunted with? If you don' t want to announce it on the board, can you email me at [email protected]? Thanks
That picture is incredible. If there was ever such a thing as a mess of turkeys, that' s it right there. Congrats to all! |

RE: Home from Texas
Wow! Sounds like you had a blast. Just curious though.
What did the outfitters say about Carlos' s third bird since they only allowed you two. Can you give some information on the outfitter and your overall rating of their service? Im thinking about heading out there next year. Congrats on a good hunt. Great looking birds. |
RE: Home from Texas
LOOKS like you guys had a great trip. Congrats

RE: Home from Texas
Congratulations. Between Texas and Hawaii you are making it look pretty easy.

RE: Home from Texas
Buckeye Mike,
In Texas and Hawaii it is pretty easy. :) If anyone wants to know more about the outfitter just e-mail at [email protected]. The outfitter allows other birds for $350 a pop. I just didn' t want to pay that, nor did the guy that killed the other bird. But accidents occaisionally happen. |
