OH YEAH, even though im still concntrating on whitetails i just cant wait for spring bird hunting. I was walking down an abandened quad trail today and it was just sick covered in turkey tracks. samearea i arrowed my bird last season :)

I had two gobblers under the shooting house this past friday. They were scratching the chufas....man... I'm am getting ready. I moved in June and still haven't settled down. In unpacking the garage I came across my vest and did pull each call out to play for about an hour, before I realized the new neighbors were probably going crazy.

I've been ready for a while!!! I cant wait! Looks like others have turkey on the mind too, this forum has already started to pick up.

I have had the itch since the middle of archery season... One of the places I archery hunt also has a healthy population of turkeys... Now that I have put a deer in the freezer my attention has seriously turned to scouting that piece of property for turkey hunting season!

Deer Season just ended Jan. 1st here in NC and i have had some of my mouth calls out for the past week or so...Already driving the wife Crazy with them......HAHA

I had that itch pretty bad, but now in ohio you can shoot a turkery in the fall. So i shot a jake in october and that will hold it off for the next couple months.
