Size of Shotgun

As I start my first season of hunting wild turkey, I have been pondering using my Ithaca Mag-Ten shotgun. I know it will do the job on the bird and will reach out there, but is this too much gun? How many of you others use the 10 guage as your preferred shotgun?

I used a Mag-10 for several years with great success. The only reason I stopped carrying it was because it was so heavy. I like to walk a lot when I hunt and after carrying the Ithaca around for a while it got old. I now shoot a much lighter Beretta and, believe it or not, it patterns better than my mag-10 does (I still have it).
