Best pattern out of my Mossy 835 so far is 3.5" #6 Hevi Shot. I think it was a1.25 Ounce load and I use a Primos Jelly Head choke.

I use Winchester Hi Density 3.5 inch #5 out of my Remington 870 Super Magnum...a powerful load.Good to 40 yards plus, if necessary.....in the spring I had 2 toms running into my decoys THEN they decided that they didn't like the look of my hen decoys andtook a right angle away at 40+yards PUTT PUTT PUTT PUTT, on the 4th putt I shot as he was running like a bastardand he went down like he was poleaxed, a 17+ pound tom, that is why I will continue to use these particular shells until I feel that they arenot consistentlyperforming.

These loads have consistently been THE best patterning and most devastating rounds we've used in several guns. From our Encore Pro Hunter to our Benelli Super Black Eagle II,.... when equipped with a Indian Creek, Black Diamond Strike custom choke it's Hevi-Shot for us on EVERY bird.
