RE: question on winchester shells

I' ve used the Winchester Double X 3 in. mags. with 2 oz. #5 shot in exactly the same rig as yours and they did great! Tight pattern, took turkeys like they were 10 ft. away. They were 30 and 25 yards away. No pellets in the meat.;)

I always tell someone that is just starting to pattern there gun to try Win shells first.

9 out of 10 guns will prob shoot those shells best.

I wish they had a Hevi Shot load!!!!!!!!!

RE: question on winchester shells

I just found in my winchester 1300 with an undertaker tube that the Winchester HV 1 3/4oz #6 3" worked best for me 30+ pellets in the head and neck at 40yds
